From the Peninsula via the James River Bridge
(Newport News/Hampton/Williamsburg)
Take the James River Bridge (Route 17 - South) towards Isle of Wight County. Take a right at the second stop light on Route 32/258 (Brewers Neck Blvd). Travel on Route 32/258 for 2.5-3.0 miles. After passing Smithfield Downs Golf Course on your right, take a right on Route 10/258 (Benns Church Blvd). Travel 1.5-2.0 miles until you get to a "Y" intersection (you will see a Smithfield Water Tower). Stay left on Route 10/258 Bypass (you will pass Cypress Creek Golf Course of your left). Travel approx. 2.0 miles until you get to the intersection of Route 10/258 Bypass and Main Street. Take a right at the stop light onto Main Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right.
From the Peninsula via I-664
(Newport News/Hampton/Williamsburg)
Take I-664 South over the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel. Take the exit for the James River Bridge/Route 17. You should be on Route 17 North (Bridge Road). Stay on Route 17 North for about 8.0-8.5 miles. Take a left onto Route 32/258 (Brewers Neck Blvd). There should be signs pointing left for Smithfield. Travel on Route 32/258 for 2.5-3.0 miles. After passing Smithfield Downs Golf Course on your right, take a right on Route 10/258 (Benns Church Blvd). Travel 1.5-2.0 miles until you get to a "Y" intersection (you will see a Smithfield Water Tower). Stay left on Route 10/258 Bypass (you will pass Cypress Creek Golf Course of your left). Travel approx. 2.0 miles until you get to the intersection of Route 10/258 Bypass and Main Street. Take a right at the stop light onto Main Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right.
From the South (Suffolk)
Take Main Street (Route 10/32 and Business 460) until you reach Godwin Blvd. Take Godwin Blvd (Route 10/32 North). Godwin Blvd turns into Benns Church Blvd once you enter Isle of Wight County. Travel a total of about 14-15 miles on Godwin Blvd/Benns Church Blvd (Route 10/32 North) until you get to a "Y" intersection (you will see a Smithfield Water Tower). Stay left on Route 10/258 Bypass (you will pass Cypress Creek Golf Course of your left). Travel approx. 2.0 miles until you get to the intersection of Route 10/258 Bypass and Main Street. Take a right at the stop light onto Main Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right.
From the East via I-64 (Chesapeake/Virginia Beach)
Take I-64 (Inner Loop) towards Suffolk. Merge onto I-664 North. Take the exit for the James River Bridge/Route 17. You should be on Route 17 North (Bridge Road). Stay on Route 17 North for about 8.0-8.5 miles. Take a left onto Route 32/258 (Brewers Neck Blvd). There should be signs pointing left for Smithfield. Travel on Route 32/258 for 2.5-3.0 miles. You will pass Smithfield Downs Golf Course on your right. Shortly thereafter, take a right on Route 10/258 (Benns Church Blvd). Travel 1.5-2.0 miles until you get to a "Y" intersection (you will see a Smithfield Water Tower). Stay left on Route 10/258 Bypass (you will pass Cypress Creek Golf Course of your left). Travel approx. 2.0 miles until you get to the intersection of Route 10/258 Bypass and Main Street. Take a right at the stop light onto Main Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right.
From the East via I-264 (Downtown Tunnel)
If you take the Downtown Tunnel, stay on I-264 West until you get to I-664 North. Take I-664 North. Take the exit for the James River Bridge/Route 17. You should be on Route 17 North (Bridge Road). Stay on Route 17 North for about 8.0-8.5 miles. Take a left onto Route 32/258 (Brewers Neck Blvd). There should be signs pointing left for Smithfield. Travel on Route 32/258 for 2.5-3.0 miles. You will pass Smithfield Downs Golf Course on your right. Shortly thereafter, take a right on Route 10/258 (Benns Church Blvd). Travel 1.5-2.0 miles until you get to a "Y" intersection (you will see a Smithfield Water Tower). Stay left on Route 10/258 Bypass (you will pass Cypress Creek Golf Course of your left). Travel approx. 2.0 miles until you get to the intersection of Route 10/258 Bypass and Main Street. Take a right at the stop light onto Main Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right.
From the West via Route 460
Take Route 460 East. When you get to Ivor, which is in Southampton County, take a left on Route 620 (Foursquare Road). Follow Foursquare Road until you get to Route 258 (Courthouse Highway). Take a left on Courthouse Highway. Courthouse Highway will eventually turn into Main Street once you get within the town limits. Take Main Street until you get to North Church Street. Take a left at the stop light at North Church Street. The Smithfield Center will be on your right. |
